What is the difference between a Trinity GESE (Graded Examinations in Spoken English) and a Trinity ISE (Integrated Skills in English)?

The Trinity GESE (also known as Graded Examinations in Spoken English exam) is for people who want to improve their communicative English language speaking and listening skills for use in real life - whatever the purpose, whether for immigration, work, study, leisure or employment.

-The CEFR levels of the Trinity GESE are  from A1 to B1.

The Trinity ISE (also known as Integrated Skills in English) exam, is a  four skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) qualification recognised by governments and institutions as providing certified  evidence of English language proficiency. - ( Trinity College ISE examinations)

The CEFR levels of the Trinity ISE range from B1 to C1.

• Learn how to express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in more complex situations.

How long are the Trinity SELT exam courses?

• In some cases, to prepare for a GESE test you need just a few hours to familiarize yourself with the exam format. Most of the time, this preparation is one-to-one with a teacher trained specifically for this test

• For the ISE tests, you may need longer because the test is more complex: you will need to practise your Speaking. Listening. Reading Comprehensions and Writing. The higher the level of the test (ISE 1, ISE 2 or ISE 3) the more time you may need.
